Much to Kiani's dismay, we shot this session at the peak of when the light changes in the sky. In the summer, I can easily shoot from 4:00PM to 8:00PM depending on my location and get pretty consistent light, but these days I'm lucky to get adequate lighting from 4:00PM to 6:00PM, and that light changes fast. While changing light might be a disadvantage to some folks, I don't mind it! Because we were shooting against sunset and into blue hour, the photographs have two entirely different vibes. Their wardrobe change definitely informed the mood at each location as well, but overall I love it! The first half gives me wholesome, sipping on a PSL as we go for a walk vibes while the second half of the shoot is moody, dark and cozy.
